Sarah's crock pot apple recipe

CROCK POT APPLES

6 large tart apples
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
6 tablespoons butter, melted
 
Core and peel apples and cut into 8ths.  Place apples in crock pot and drizzle with lemon juice.  Combine sugars, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; sprinkle over apples.  Drizzle butter over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours.

Sarah makes these and they are absolutely wonderful.

She uses a liner in the crock pot to make clean up easy.
