Clayton joined Cub Scouts earlier in the year. He has really enjoyed being a Cub Scout. They have had an overnight camp out, their pinewood derby, toured the Charleston Fire and Rescue station and today was their first cookout of the year. I was privileged to be invited to attend. Kristyn was with me so she got to go too. They went to Fox Ridge State Park. It was a really nice day. They boys took a little hike after we ate hot dogs.
The boys had eye appointments after the picknik. So I just tagged along so I could sit with one of them while Sarah took to other one in to get his eyes checked. Brad has been working a lot of hours so he wasn't able to go. Braden will be going to see a specialist on Tuesday to have his eyes checked. His astigmatism (in both eyes) is off the charts and Brad and Sarah thought they should get a second opinion. So they are headed to Indianapolis.
