Christmas this year.

Started out on Christmas Eve with the Christmas Eve Communion service at Antioch.  Very touching service.  Justin said he had heard someone say recently that without Christmas there would be no Easter.

After we left we drove down main street in Oakland to see the lights and then out to Bodle's for our annual Bodle/Hawkins event.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            The view out my window on Christmas morning was glorious.  Just enough snow to make a for beautiful Christmas.
We've made an annual event by going to the grandkids homes Christmas morning to check out
their Santa presents.   Here's Kristyn's.  She's such a little tom-boy but everything has to be in PINK.

And then to Charleston to see the boys.  Red Rider BB guns.  Don't know what Santa was thinking.  I asked if daddy had given them rules for using them.  They both assured me he had.  They challenged us to a game of wii bowling.  Little snots beat us.

Christmas at our house started around 3pm.  This is the before picture of the tree, minus the three huge boxes.
And the after.  Three huge remote control 4WD trucks.  I told Kristyn if she wanted her's pink her dad would paint it for her.

The winner (and only entrant) in the ugly sweater contest CLINT HAWKINS.........
After presents we had Christmas dinner and 7 year old Clayton said grace.  We have been truly blessed our family is healthy, happy and knows what the real reason for this season is.

And the angel said unto them, "Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:10-11

From our home to yours.  Merry Christmas.
