My wisteria was beautiful this year. We planted it several years ago and last year had the first blooms on it. This year with the nice, warm and early spring my vines were just full of blooms. This first pictue is at the beginning of the blooming. Later you can see just how full they got. I never quite got close enough to get a picture of one of the 1032 bumble bee's that were buzzing away at the blooms. They must have really liked them. I had never seen so many bee's. It sounded like a jet liner out there.
One of Joes gourd bird houses. He's got two drying from last year.
Just a few more signs of spring around the place. Tulips, apple tree's in full bloom, a brand new batch of beautiful, fuzzy, cute as can be kittens and a turkey strutting along side the edge of the woods. Actually there were two of them I just couldn't get them both in the picture. One was practly running to get out of the picture. Must have been camera shy.
We planted these apple trees shortly after moving out to the farm in 1989. This is the very first year we have had more than a dozen blooms. Hopfully we'll have a bumper crop. Fresh apple pie tastes pretty good in December. So does apple cider.
