Coartney Reunion

Thanks to Craig Coartney for putting together

the reunion.   It was held at Mill Creek park down by Marshall.

It is always so much fun watching the little ones get to know each other.

Just like we used to do years ago.  I always had so much fun when we all went

to Grandmother Coartney's.  We got to play with all of our cousins.

Thanks again Craig and all his helpers.  We had a great time.

Digging

So over the fourth of July weekend while we had help it was decided to put Ronnie's culvert in.

 Here are a few pictures of loading it and moving it to Ronnie's driveway.

 

After the culvert was in place the backhoe operator decided to fix a broken field tile.

 

Wow there must be a lot of water left in that field tile.

 

Well guess what?  Water was from the WATER LINE.

  

Quick trip to Charleston and problem fixed.

So this is how we spent the 4th.  On Saturday morning we went to the Hindsboro 4th of July 

Parade.  It's an annual event and has been going on for several years.

 

We had some guests this weekend.  Doug  and Devin came over to spend the weekend with us.

 

Jeri kept Jarrett over night for Coartney.  She said he kept her up all night.

 

Kristyn got to ride the fire truck.

After the parade they always meet on main street to get sprayed by the fire truck.  Always a hit.  Kristyn said it was cold.

We then went over to Ronnie and Patty's house and enjoyed their pool and hot tub.  Thanks a bunch.
