This flag is flying at half mast on the Oakland square in honor of Jared Southworth. A fine young man, husband, father, son, brother, friend, soldier and hero. He was called home during his tour of duty in Afganistan. I thank him for his service and pray for his family. He will be truly missed by family and friends.

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
