Farming, Fairs and 4-H. This is the time. Just sending Mom's article and also the results of the showmanship winner for pigs. My granddaughter, Coartney Campbell and Jim and Sheila (Birch) Yeager's daughter in the top picture and Amber Veach of Oakland whose grandparents are Les and Helen Dallas of Hutton twp. Charlotte is Mom's neighbor and goes to Enon Church. I guess we will have to go to the fair to see Coartney show for the over-all showmanship award. Brent Taylor from Oakland,and a good friend of Coartney's, will also be showing for this award and there will be one more chosen today. It is hot here today, but it always is for fair week. We are eating good this time of year with corn on the cob and tomatoes from the gardens and of course watermelons and cantalopes. Comment my mother sent out today about Coartney winning Senior Showman or Show-woman I should say.
